Review

The story follows Madison MacDonald, who's perfect life falls apart, after is bullied into breaking off ties and disabling her social networking accounts. The plot follows the challenges she faces to overcome the bully and her friends.

I found this particular novel  extremely boring. Honestly, I faced a challenge of my own - actually finishing the book. The plot was the basic 'girl faces challenges in high school', but the whole novel was centered on the previous book in the series. This made it extremely complicated to follow for a reader unfamiliar with the series - aka me. No explanations were given for references from the previous books, making it quite frustrating to understand.

The protagonist herself was quite dull and the life she leads is way too perfect for an average teenager to actually relate to. The main issue in the book is cyberbullying and it is not portrayed well. The story makes the problem seem trivial and the solution offered is not very realistic, making the reader quite uncomfortable. Its only saving grace is the upbeat plot, that may cheer the reader up.

The book is not an enjoyable experience to go through and I will definitely not recommend it.
